What is the platform fee?
When you pay your gym through OLM, a 2% platform fee is added to the payment. It covers secure booking and payments. Your gym receives its full price.

What is it for?
It covers the booking and payments service your gym uses: secure card processing, class booking and check-in, receipts, and refunds. It is added to the payment, not to your gym's price.
How much is it?
2% of what your gym charges, rounded to the nearest cent. You see it as its own line, with the total, before you pay, and again on your receipt.
Does my gym get less?
No. Your gym receives its full price. The platform fee is separate and is not taken out of what you pay your gym.
Is this a fee for the app?
No. There is no charge for downloading or using the app, and no OLM subscription. The fee only applies when you pay your gym for something, like a membership, a drop-in, a class pack, a seminar, or something at the front desk.
On a membership, is it charged every month?
It is charged with each payment. If your membership renews monthly, each monthly payment includes it; if it renews yearly, it is part of the yearly payment.
What happens if I get a refund?
The platform fee is refunded with it. A full refund returns the whole fee; a partial refund returns the matching part.
Some gyms don't show it. Why?
Some gyms have no platform fee, so their members don't pay one.
