Kicksite is a popular, easy-to-use choice for small martial arts schools. Here's how it compares with OLM.
I train at a gym that uses this app, and I build the product. If the table below says Kicksite beats us on something, it's because they do.
Kicksite is built for martial arts schools and is well liked for being simple and for its support. It's priced by student count, from $49/mo for up to 25 students to $199/mo above 100, with every feature on every tier. Payments in the US run through its preferred processor, Basys, which adds its own monthly fee ($29–$49/mo) on top of 2.9% + $0.25 per card. OLM costs the gym nothing per month, adds no processing markup on the gym's own Stripe account, and includes a member app with the gym's brand. Pick Kicksite if you're a small single-discipline school that values simplicity above all. Pick OLM if you want no monthly floor, your own Stripe account, a branded member app, and ranks across several disciplines.

Gym software costs more than the monthly line item — it costs setup weeks, add-on negotiations, and the dread of moving your roster. Here's both sides of that ledger.
Effort & lock-in
OLM's answer
For the gym, yes: OLM is $0 a month with no processor monthly fee, against $49–$199 a month plus Basys's $29–$49 monthly fee. On OLM your members pay a 2% platform fee on each charge. Run your roster and dues in the savings calculator to compare totals.
OLM tracks rank per discipline, records every promotion with the date and promoter, and shows attendance so you can see who's eligible. It doesn't have a built-in curriculum builder yet.
Yes. Export your student list and we import it; optional white-glove onboarding ($499) does it with you. Cards stored with your current processor may not transfer, so plan for members to add a card in the OLM app.
