Wodify started in CrossFit and is now actively pitching jiu-jitsu academies. OLM is martial-arts-native from day one. Here's the honest comparison — including what Wodify does better.
I train at a gym that uses this app, and I build the product. If the table below says Wodify beats us on something, it's because they do.
Wodify is a polished, well-funded gym platform with a real CrossFit pedigree, an HYROX co-marketing motion, and a Two-Brain Business partnership. They've added Jiu-Jitsu-specific features (automated belt tracking, family billing) and they sell hard. The catch is the pricing shape: per-location monthly tiers (Essentials/Accelerate/Ultimate), with the things most gyms actually want — branded app, lead automation, custom website, performance tracking — sitting on higher tiers or as paid add-ons. OLM flips that: zero subscription, 2% on memberships ($2 minimum), 3% on add-ons, $0 on POS, your own Stripe account. Pick Wodify if you want a packaged ecosystem with HYROX/Two-Brain integrations and you're comfortable with annual-style commitments. Pick OLM if you want martial-arts-deeper features without per-location pricing or add-on creep.

Wodify wins on programming tools, reporting depth, and the HYROX/Two-Brain ecosystem — we say so. Pricing and feature sets change — this page reflects a best-effort snapshot from publicly available info. Check their site directly before deciding.

Three things. Programming and WOD tools (their CrossFit pedigree shows), pre-built reporting dashboards (a decade-plus of fitness-industry KPIs), and ecosystem integrations like HYROX co-marketing and the Two-Brain Business gym-coaching framework. If any of those is core to your operation, Wodify is the better fit.
Per-discipline rank tracking with portable lineage (a judo black belt keeps their judo rank when they join your BJJ gym), training journal + AI coach included, white-labeled member app at no extra cost, Stripe Connect Standard so you keep your own merchant account, and no per-location subscription. OLM is martial-arts-deeper; Wodify is fitness-broader.
Wodify Essentials is currently promoted at $79/mo per location (regular $179/mo), with Accelerate and Ultimate above that, plus add-ons (Branded App, Custom Website, Performance Tracking) and an onboarding fee. A 200-member single-location gym on Accelerate-with-add-ons can easily run $200-400/mo before processing fees. OLM is $0/mo platform fee with 2% on each membership invoice ($2 minimum). For that same 200-member gym at $150/mo memberships, OLM is ~$600/mo on memberships — more on the per-transaction line, but $0 in subscription, no add-on tiers, no per-location surcharge. Run both numbers on your specific roster.
Yes via CSV export. Member roster, contact info, and active subscriptions migrate cleanly. Belt history, performance records, and family-group structures typically need to be recreated since the data shape differs. Most gyms run Wodify and OLM in parallel for a billing cycle to make sure nothing gets double-charged or missed during the cutover.
It's well-marketed (Rob Wade of Xtreme Couture on the landing page, Jiu-Jitsu-specific feature framing). Under the hood it's the same Wodify platform with Jiu-Jitsu-flavored content and automated belt-progression rules layered on top. That works for many gyms; it's just not the same as software that was designed for martial arts from day one.
Wodify charges per location — every new gym is another monthly subscription. OLM is one model regardless of how many locations you run; the per-transaction fees scale with what each location collects. For a 2-3 location gym, the per-location difference can be hundreds per month.
